Fast and professional service when I bring my bikes to get fixed. I have mountain bikes and road bikes and they always do a great job. They also have a weekly group road ride which meets every Saturday at 730am. You get to meet new people and make new friends. Contes also has great bikes for sale, and they are always happy to set you up for a test ride.
Went in to buy my wife a bike, they fitted her with the perfect bike she felt very comfortable riding. Before we left the store I also was fitted and we walk out with two new bikes , and a two bike rack for the car. They spent a couple of hours to make sure we had what we needed to get into bike riding. Our fitter and sales guy also installed the bike rack on the car and loaded the bikes on the rack, and made sure we fully understood how too load the bikes on the rack. Great experience.
I went here as a total noob to biking and had a very great experience the staff (Catherine) was very helpful and listened to what I was wanting to do. She then made some recommendations. I learned quite a bit and will try to come back there for all my rentals in the future.
I have been to all of the bike shops in and around Williamsburg, and this one is by far the best! Every time I come in, I'm greeted and helped immediately. What sets Conte's apart from the other shops is their politeness and willingness to explain things to naive cyclists (like myself). The past two visits, I went into the shop because I needed minor repairs. They did the work immediately, while I waited. These guys genuinely enjoy their jobs and are fantastic at them.
These guys are always helpful and knowledgeable. Matt is an awesome mechanic and Fran is a really good guy. I always look forward to going in there.
