There are a lot of empty stores in the shopping center and they are building more in the lot next door. We do enjoy shopping at the Food Lion. Stores and restaurants tend to come and go quickly.
Seems a little vacant, but the Food Lion is well kept and the parking lot has ample parking.
It is in a great location and plus.... One of Virginia's finest ballroom dance studio is located there, 7 Cities Ballroom!
Other than Food Lion and some take-out places, it no longer has the businesses to draw large numbers. No access from 199 is also a problem. Still, it is convenient and well-maintained.
Shop at Food Lion at least 4 times a week. It is a very friendly and clean store that is always stocked well with fresh vegetables and fruits!
