Other than starting a little late it turned out to be a nice afternoon walk to various places as advertised and the Macoronia and Cheese was the highlight of the walk. There were several locations such as The Peanut Shop where we'll go back and buy some things to take home.
Kids bought us the tour and we weren't sure how it was going to be based on reviews read.
Great tour. The website give a spot on description and i was pleasantly pleased. I was able to get a nice feel for Williamsburg and I was nice and full with food and candy to take home. I highly recommend them.
I try to take food tours every city I find myself in. This one can be best described as quaint. I forgot our guides name but she was a college kid who knew the area. We had samples at 5 local eateries. All were good. I think it took 2 hours. The Mac-n-Cheese at Blue Talon and eggrolls were the best part.
While it's not a long walk you should be ready for a hot muggy one which is why they say bring water but each location had enough water it isn't necessarily a must.
Our tour guide Adam did a great job. He brought us to 5 places that all had really good tastings for my group to enjoy. It was a walking tour so be sure to wear good shoes. The Blue Talon Restaurant was the best.
Mark did a good job and took a pace that didn't have us feeling rushed.
Had a Great time! Our guide showed us many locations we would have never been able to find on our own. We got to enjoy a little of the William and Mary experience as well and it was very nice to take a tour without feeling like a tourist.
