Great location and really good amenities, but our one bedroom place was impacted greatly by the noice from our adjoining neighbors who were not part of our party. We could hear everything they were saying in their kitchen and we're woken up daily by their trampling around above our heads. Had to sleep with earplugs every night. They need to seriously work on their soundproofing! Would have rated a 5 if the sounds of our neighbors were not such a problem. BTW...they were not the partying type...just really poor soundproofing.
This is totally a rip off. PLEASE do not believe the marketing Team who is selling you the gifts to get there to listen to the horrible presentation. The African American women whom she indicates that she is the manager, however would not give her name. Did not give us (ALL AFRICAN AMERICAN) the presentation at all. They had approximate 12 people in the room & told us we can leave. The gifts was not validated at all. Mr. Day (Manager) threaten to call the police on me that he was going to put me out due to trespassing when I only came there to hear the presentation. When ask the question about the name King's Creek PLANTATION. They were very offended. My husband & I don't go to any of these free marketing & this is totally why, however I understand that Massanutten Resorts does not treat people in this form. Please don't waste your time.
The structures and grounds are well kept. Service has been pretty good. Amenities are mostly well taken care of. There are lots of things for kids to do including at least three swimming pools. Close to other activities including Busch Gardens and Water County. Home is nice and big with most amenities expected.
The amenities are great, people at the front desk are very helpful. Our neighbors were very noisy, but we tried to stay out during the day. They were also smokers. However, we loved our trip to Williamsburg, and this facility. We would definitely come back.
The outdoor pools were too cold and the indoor pool was too noisy. They knew we had a toddler but put us in a unit with a huge staircase right inside the front door. We had to create a make-shift baby gate out of the chairs and even then we worried. The play grounds were very nice.
