We have been staying here for the past nine years now and there is a reason that we keep coming back year after year, trip after trip, special event after each previous one. The Williamsburg Inn is what it is not only for the history and the outside but what is on its inside is what really makes this place run. The staff is amazing and excellent. They know each member of our family on a first name basis. We love them and love how they treat us. Either if it is us or a member of the Royal Family. There is no different to them. You are a member of their family and this is your home. Welcome home!!....Welcome to Williamsburg!!!!
The Williamsburg Inn is exceptional in so many ways. Our rooms were nice, clean, and well appointed. The service was amazing as well. The staff was very attentive and on top of our every request. I look forward to staying there again soon!
Fallen some since its days of true glory. Food has also slumped a little but generally a great stay with good food. If you're going to eat in colonial Williamsburg you'd better go here or the taverns.
On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, my family made reservations for 6:30 to eat at the Inn. We arrived and were seated at 6:25. We ordered our food around 6:40-6:45. Our meal did not arrived until 7:35! We asked several times where our meals were....only to be given more bread. It was very aggravating because we have eaten here several times before (with a much larger group) and NEVER had to wait that long. The dining room was not overcrowded. In my opinion, they should have offered a complimentary dessert or appetizer. The food was excellent, but for the money we spent, the wait was way too long!
Great service and very friendly staff, great food (lamb, duck and salmon done to perfection to your preference and nicely presented). Appetizers were awesome as well, not a fan of the sweet oyster sauce however as the only small complaint. Overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone!
